1)      GPA 2.8 or above or acceptance to college /technical school

2)       Awarded one time only.

3)      Applicant attending 2 or 4 year accredited college/university, or technical college. Money to be used for tuition, books, room & board, or school supplies.

4)      Must be high school senior graduating in Spring of 2011 or currently enrolled or applying for the Running Start Program.

5)      At least two (2) letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach, counselor, or employer.

6)      An essay on a public service related activity (volunteerism) that the individual has done during the last four years (minimum 250 words, maximum 1500 words).

7)      Applicants family member is a member in good standing of the Graham Kapowsin High School Booster Club

8)       Must have had volunteering experience or is currently volunteering somewhere in the community. Some extra-curricular activities (but won’t disqualify if they don’t have any).

9)       Personal or academic achievements

10)   Scholarship is to be used during the 2011/2012 school year (fall, winter or spring terms).

11)  Should no applicant apply from within the GKHS Booster Club membership, applications will be opened up to other students at Graham Kapowsin High School.

12)   If no applicants apply in either category, the money will be kept in GKHS Booster Club scholarship fund.
